This is normally our favorite place to go, but this time was a bit different. They were on time with the reservation, but as my wife slid into the bench seat, she discovered that one of the bench springs was broken and it cut her leg. No big deal, stuff happens. The server, Blake, was fantastic. Very professional and accommodating. We got crispy calamari that was not even close to crispy. The food was good, but I was disappointed that my reservation requests weren't acknowledged. I requested a table in a specific area, and we weren't seated there even though the table was empty. We were seated at the booth closest to the door which you would think would be given to walk-ins and not people with reservations. Also, I indicated on the reservation that it was a birthday celebration and that wasn't acknowledged, which it usually is. Their bread is really good, but it was soft and not crusty as usual.
