Stone Creek is our go to local restaurant here in Plainfield IN. We especially enjoy the outdoor dining during the summer months & the atmosphere inside the bar area in the colder months. The food is perfection. Some of our favorite items are the house salads with alfalfa sprouts & sunflower seeds, calamari with the blackberry balsamic vinegarette salad, salmon, ribs & carrot cake. Stone Creek never disappoints.
15 family members went here on Race Day to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. With the race going on it was very quiet in the restaurant. Ellie was our server and she was amazing. While we weren't a hard group to handle, she orchestrated everything seemlessly, down to the 15 Prosecco toasts at dessert. So....they were so kind to serve a dish that used to be on their menu. That is great service. However I question if that is their strength as the dinner was just OK. Small detail but the side dish that is no longer offered is a baked potato. I would have preferred they just said no to serving one that was not fully cooked. On the plus side our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable.
The sea bass special was awesome. We got right in with our reservations. Service great!
