It had been a long week and my husband and I needed a date night. We didn't feel like driving too far to go out to eat, so we chose Stone Creek in Plainfield. When I checked their website, I was pleased to see I could reserve a table online. That process was so simple! We eat here often. Love the atmosphere, art work, ceiling and light fixtures. Food is wonderful, especially the beer battered shrimp and filets. Would love to see the goat cheese appetizer back on the menu in the future. Service is always good.
We have eaten Stone Creek in Plainfield numerous times. Never fails to WOW us. The bread and dipping oil is wonderful and is a great prelude to dinner. Only item we miss is the fried green tomatoes with crab.
