Our dinner on January 4th was excellent. We had the option of changing out our vegetables for a salad. The entrees were very well prepared. The Miso salmon was excellent and the asparagus and toasted rice cakes were as well. The service was very good.

Two of us dined Stone Creek, Zionsville IN. I asked for coffee and it was luke warm and decaf which I did not order. The salad was good but the dressing was not whipped like it usually is. The Choose Two Salmon terrine was Ok. Salmon was cooked well but looked thrown together on the plate. I've had many great meals at Stone Creek, Zionsville, but this was an unusual experience.

Scallops are nice, but if you have dairy allergies be warned against the rice under. I had a belly ache all night.

My only negative was seating. Our reservation was for 2pm New Year’s Eve so we could take our time and there would be minimal noise. We like a quiet dinner with friends so we can talk without yelling. So I asked for a booth. As expected, the crowd was minimal but we got seated right outside the kitchen. Since our friends arrived early and we’re already seated, I didn’t say anything. Big mistake. Kitchens are loud places. Yikes Staff should have realized our request and seated us elsewhere.
