It was my birthday and I chose an “adult” and quiet place that I had been to years before. We made reservations and were seated in the middle of several families with young children who were crying and screaming throughout. We asked to be moved to a booth and we’re told “no, we are very booked tonight.” Which they were but I remember a large heavy curtain separating family and kids from adults who desired a more intimate and relaxing experience.
