Would return Stone creek is a great place for either just sitting at the bar and having a nice dinner with drinks, or taking out of town guests for a nice sit down meal. Menu has good diversity in choices, ambience is nice, service is on time. just a great place to dine
Quality and service... ... Have slipped somewhat from their former excellent level. Granted, I've only dined there in the evening before, and this time we were there for a pre-mothers day lunch, but for the money I paid, I would have expected better service. The restaurant was mostly empty when we got there, and we were promptly seated in the mercifully quiet dining room (one of the reasons we love this place) and provided with menus and water, with the usual nudge to order drinks and/or apps. Food was great and wait staff was good. We had reservations but waited 30 minutes past our reserved time. Saw two different groups get seated before our group, but arrived way after our group Asked the hostess about our wait time...."oh sorry you dropped from our list after you checked in." We have been here five other times never had this happen. Our table was second from the entrance on the right. Worst table...faces the entrance to the kitchen. We should have been offered a better table after our delayed wait.
