I couldn't recommend Villa Gardens enough! My Grandpa Ken passed here in 2024 and Grandma Ginni passed here in 2018. The day my grandfather moved here, we asked about hosting our wedding the next day since he was steadily declining and unsure if he could attend our wedding in Fallbrook, California. The staff was so accommodating and friendly to graciously host our micro wedding ceremony and reception within 24 hours. My heart breaks to share that our beloved 98-year-old Grandpa Ken passed shortly after Andrew and I married. Up until a month ago, Grandpa continued his daily routines of stretching, gardening, walking, exercising, socializing, driving, and investing in his stocks. As a veteran of nursing homes on both coast i will say Villa Gardens gave my mother excellent care. Ultimately we brought mom into our home but anytime we needed respite we trusted Villa Gardens. Please do diligence. It's been years. Good luck.

My aunt lived about 8 miles from here, and when we looked at various places, we decided this was the best facility for her. After two months, we realize we made the perfect choice. While initially touring the facilities, we talked to a handful of staff members, including Paula. All of them very nice and extremely helpful. I went to a Villa Gardens Rehab after my back surgery in May 2015.. I was there for 3 weeks. Care and therapy was excellent. Getting 2 hours a day therapy (PT and OT) made all the difference in the world in my recovery. Oct Doris

My grandmother who is 90 years old is EXTREMELY hard to please and she was used to living alone in her beautiful home in Pasadena. It was crucial for us to find a place where she could make friends and live comfortably and that place is DEFINITELY Villa Gardens. She has lived there for over 10 years and loves it. She gets checked up on regularly, the food is good, the staff is amazing and attentive, and we could not be more pleased. I could not recommend it further.

After my hip replacement, I spend 10 day in their rehab. center. The staff were friendly and compassionate ! Everyone went out of the way be help my recovery. So much more than I expected !

My mother didn't want to cook for herself, and didn't want to live in a big, empty house. We checked a number of retirement facilities in and around Pasadena, and Villa Gardens was the best, in our opinion. It's expensive, but it's like being on a cruise ship. The dining room is clean and elegant. The menus are varied and you can even order a la carte if nothing on the menu pleases you. There are continuous activities. Gramma is 98 and has landed in the rehab a few times. They are lovely to her, she says the food is better than her usual place and the garden is lovely. Certainly worth checking out if your relative needs care.
