RecommendedI can't rate them highly enough. 17 years ago we had an interior decorator install plantation shutters and they broke so easily we were constantly replacing slats. Finally the frame on one just fell apart and I had to replace all three in the kitchen so they would match each other. The slats were also loose and wouldn't stay tightly closed.
