Had to call in for an emergency appointment. Waited over 3 days in pain to get in. Was seen for 10 minutes. Told that I had a cavity that needed to be filled and needed to wait until March 27th. Sent home in pain with no antibiotics. Following morning I decided to get a second opinion- the cavity isn’t the problem at all and its the wrong tooth. Now have to go get a filling removed that was put in by sunset as my tooth is dying underneath the filling that sunset put in, root canal & crown to try and save the tooth but it may... read more
Very disappointed in the customer service! Broke my tooth yesterday (friday) while at work , called sunset dental , because they are one of the only places open on weekends, i felt it was a emergency , got a appointment set up for Sunday, great! Reception calls me back a few hrs later tells me, they have to cancel my appointment and can i just come in on Tuesday! This is my experience there. I had a tooth that was chipped of it was like that for years. No pain could chew fine with it even hard peanuts. They suggested that i crown it ( over a $1000) i said pull it ($300) they said it would be better to leave it for partails so i did. No insurance all out of my own pocket. Since then i cant even chew a soft piece of bread with it. They tried grinding it down 4 times saying it was the ( bite ) when that didnt work they tried grinding the top tooth to make it work. They told me I had to have all my teeth pulled. I did. Got dentures. They still don't fit. I had the hard lining put in and they charged me for it. I found out I should not have been charged for this service. I need to have them fitted again. Don't know if I should go back or go somewhere else. The dentist I had has already left. Not good if you are looking for a dentist. I am scared to death of them. Once I find one I like to keep them. Very bad when they don't stay.
They told me i had to get 2 root canals what was supposed to cost me $1200, but for some reason my gut told me that they were trying to rip me off so i decided to go to my dentist to see what they would say, they told me that they only neede fillings, i was so upset with sunset dental, i could of lost 2 teeth beside each other
Had my teeth removed on Aug 2015, paid 7000.00 and 4300 out of my own pocket for them to butcher my mouth so bad that my dentures don't fit properly and was told today that there was nothing they could do and I have to live with it. I can't eat with them and gag constantly. Yes they are without a doubt a very friendly office but that's then only good thing I have to say. So I guess I will have to get another opinion and see what legal matters I can take. I wouldn't recommend them for any major dental surgery
My husband just got 3 teeth pulled yesterday. He said there amazing other than when getting tooth as you feel pressure. But he didn't like the fact that he in a lot of pain and didn't recieve nothing for pain meds when he got 3 teeth pulled. He got 1 thing of gauze which lasted until hour after his appointment. There are a lot of misunderstandings.
