Great Office! I hate going to a dentist, which is why I ended up with toothache. Today at Tallega Dental I found an office I feel comfortable in, with people who made the experience almost a joy! Everyone was friendly and happy, thoughtful and kind, and best of all, very competent. They seem to do all options in dentistry and have all the latest high-tech equipment and patient-friendly techniques. I highly recommend them. In future I will not fear my dental appointments.\r

Went in for my "every 4 month" tooth cleaning. Hygenist was OK, but the electric tarter removal was irrritating and hurtful. I was then told I needed an injection on 5 teeth (which I found out later would be 10 injections on both sides of the tooth) of Arestin to shrink the pocket depth. I've had this proceedure almost every time I visit and I've read the "pros and cons" of this treatment and...

Talega Dental is a Rip Off! This place is a rip-off. I have a dental HMO through work and my old dentist is not on the list of preferred providers. I think the reason that they accept HMO dental insurance is because they know how to game the insurance system and over-charge the client. I got a deep-cleaning (planing and scaling) and 2 fillings. My insurance coverage says that deep cleaning is 100% covered and fillings have a deductible anywhere from $20-$75 depending on the material/location. Instead of it costing $40-$150 t... read more
