I brought my dog, Daisy (maltipoo) to Taurus Lamar for a week long stay while I was traveling. During her stay, they did not contact me with any updates. I assumed they were busy so I overlooked it. However, upon picking her up, I noticed she was very dirty and her fur seemed a bit matted. Again, not a huge deal to me as I didn't expect them to brush her everyday. Wish I could give 0 stars. Sent my dog to board and train in May 2017. Dog got ill from exposure to other ill dog(s) and had to be taken to the vet. I have had and trained dogs for 35 years. Was not impressed with the training she received at all. Very superficial. Results were not worth the money at all. Notwithstanding the inadequate training and very poor care given to my dog, I paid my $1200 bill as requested. I can't speak to other locations that appear to be awesome, but the Lake Travis Taurus has been a huge disappointment. I was looking to board and train. I contacted them 5 times (no exaggeration) without any follow up. The guy I spoke with the first 2 times had me complete information on line. I followed up with them and was told they would get back with me...after a few weeks, I went in person and was told to contact the lead trainer. I left her 2 voice mails over 2 weeks. No response - ever.

I was impressed with our first meeting and the level of interest in our Molly BUT she stayed at the 620 location for five nights, we were told they would try to text or send picture during her stay, I realize it was a busy time but no contact from Taurus. When we picked her up Wednesday the young lady at the desk had a hard time finding her, when she found her and brought her out Molly could not wait to leave!
