So we brought our dog in to this facility 10 days ago because she partially lost mobility in her hind legs. At the time, a laser treatment was highly recommended so we approved it. The treatment did not happen because the machine was broken. So, at that time, a subsequent appointment was set for today to preform the laser treatment. Fast forward to today, we brought her back for that laser treatment and dropped her off with the expectation she would receive that treatment and in a timely manner. I have been searching for a vet in the area that I like for the past couple years and I am happy to say I have finally found that with the Animal Hospital of Waynesville. Both times I have visited the doctors have walked me through the entire process. The receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. The techs were so knowledgeable and sweet to my boys! Also, the prices are cheaper than petmeds! It's a bit of a drive from Cullowhee, but it's well worth it! Thanks for taking such great care of my boys! I won't be taking them ... read more

This is a great place!! Dr. Harrington is very knowledgable, and really cares about animals. He has given me advice for my kitty that has not only improved Kitty's quality of life, but saved it!! I'd definetly reccommend this vet!
I would not trust any place that employs Kira Vaughn
They racked up my bill by $200 when I had my two dogs kenneled there. They added things and didn’t get my consent. It costs $625 for four days and some shots. Overpriced and unethical. You don’t add things without consent and rack up bills.

Been sitting in the exam room for over an hour while others are coming and going. If it wasn't for the fact this was the only place open I would of never came and wasted my money. But seeing my dog limping around put me in worry mode. I'm sure I'll get charged every penny too. 1 doctor on staff. Total let down. I should of drove to Asheville

I went camping this past weekend at a KOA in cherokee and our dog had broken through a window with his snout. There was spurting blood everywhere. So we had to rush him to this closest hospital which was the Waynesville Animal Hospital. My dog is very active and has always had a clean bill of health. Saw the vets regularly and never had any sort of issue with anything. So, when we got to the hospital I was COVERED in blood from holding the laceration on his nose closed.
