They racked up my bill by $200 when I had my two dogs kenneled there. They added things and didn’t get my consent. It costs $625 for four days and some shots. Overpriced and unethical. You don’t add things without consent and rack up bills.

Been sitting in the exam room for over an hour while others are coming and going. If it wasn't for the fact this was the only place open I would of never came and wasted my money. But seeing my dog limping around put me in worry mode. I'm sure I'll get charged every penny too. 1 doctor on staff. Total let down. I should of drove to Asheville

I went camping this past weekend at a KOA in cherokee and our dog had broken through a window with his snout. There was spurting blood everywhere. So we had to rush him to this closest hospital which was the Waynesville Animal Hospital. My dog is very active and has always had a clean bill of health. Saw the vets regularly and never had any sort of issue with anything. So, when we got to the hospital I was COVERED in blood from holding the laceration on his nose closed. And there was also a beach towel soaked in it too. No... read more

They apparently require that all medication be purchased from them. We tried to get a Trifexis refill today and were turned down because they didn't sell us an intervening month's dose. If you travel between multiple homes, in my case sure to settling my mother's estate, or choose to purchase medication through a separate outlet then I do not recommend them at all.

My dog went paralyzed on a saturday when our regular vet wasn't in .so i took him to the waynesville animal hospital. The vet that we saw that day came into the room and his first option was to put my furbaby to sleep . l refused to do that and told him i would take my dog some where else. He finally agreed to refer him to a specialist in Greenville S.C.. And went on to tell me how much it would cost . and this is the words be used "well you know that you will have to pay that money back eventually don't you " just because i... read more

This is undoubtedly the worst animal hospital in town! Years ago, my cat started feeling bad over the weekendand by MMonday wasn't eating or drinking. I was the only person in my office that day and could Not leave to take her to the vet. As soon as I got home, I called the vet on call and told hrr what was going on. It was Dr Hammit, the owner of the hospital. She refused to meet me at the hospital, said I should take her to the ER in the next city. I didn't even have the gas to get there, let alone the fee just to be seen... read more

If it had been up to this veterinary hospital our dog would be dead right now. They demanded $400 up front before even telling us if he had any internal injuries after being hit by a car. I have never seen such callousness from a vet in my life. They told us that unless we could come up with the $400 right that second they would just put him down.
