Have been going here for many years. Recently the prices have gone up, portions are smaller, and non friendly waitstaff Not our favorite place anymore. 11.25 for a glass of house wine., really?
Not sure what happened to this normally reliable family “red sauce” restaurant, but we had a horrible experience Sunday night trying to celebrate a birthday dinner with family. Food was served cold, took forever to be served, one waiter for a party of 12 with other tables, etc.
The service was terrible. We waited over 30 minutes for our meal. When the food finally came out, the waiter got our order wrong and when it came back one of the meals was wrong again. Very slow sorry and waiter was aweful. Too bad because we like the Chateau...
The waitress Maria was very loud and obnoxious. We were a party of 8 and were seated in an awkward place. Maria loudly told us we were seated in an inconvenient place and she couldn’t get by us to get to the table to the left of us. When our food came she sat our food down behind us on an empty table and then proceeded to kiss and hug the patrons of table to our right good bye while our food sat and got cold. It took a half hour for our food and we were sat by a drafty window.
This was my first visit. The food was OK, nothing fancy. It is a good place to bring kids.
Waiter was rude. Treated my co-workers like they were children/stupid because of their accents. He was very condescending. would go back.
Although the food was delicious, the service was incredible slow. Our food didn't arrive until an hour after we were seated and the restaurant wasn't crowded. Since we were celebrating our sister's birthday we would have liked to order desserts but feared it would take way too long.
