Classic and we had some delicious meals in the past. Everything was just ok until a mouse ran across the dining room floor. Waitress just thought nothing of it, even funny. It makes me question a few things. Went at a normal dinner time and room had a good amount of people. Kids spent the entire dinner looking for the mouse, they were entertained by it.
Always great food and friendly staff plenty of free parking
This is my favorite local restaurant for Waltham, MA. This is the first Cheateau that they created, so it has 3 parking lots! and many function rooms! Every holiday they decorate this little alcove in the hallway. This time it was decorated for St. Patty's day. A nice touch of ambiance. The food is excellent and at a very reasonable price. We have eaten many times at the Chateau and have always had great meals. We went on March 5th. The food was not as good as it has been during our many previous meals. The food was cold and bland. One person in our party did not like her meal at all and it was taken off our check. We were definitely disappointed.
Once again, the Chateau came through! With the food, service and the precautions during this pandemic.

The Fried clam&Scallop Dinner was outstanding. Fried To Perfection and tasty. As a 50yr customer of the Chateau Waltham Never Had a bad Dinner There.How About That Famous Bread!!!
