How good is it? HOW GOOD IS IT? It’s not good, it’s outstanding. I have now tried almost everything on the menu and still plan to revisit. The Cozy Taberna is an incredible experience. The vibe is inviting, sophisticated, comfortable, inclusive and an escape to another world. The food is so exquisitely presented, hand crafted to perfection and the taste of Heaven in every bite. Amazing food and great service! Absolutely loved the ambiance
Really delicious food, & cool location. I really like that it has an open kitchen so you can watch what’s going on. It’s great to have another high quality restaurant in Salem.
I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant and was not disappointed. We had the carrots, salt cod fritters, brussel sprouts, octopus, and squid ink pasta as well as the banana and lemon cake. The food timing was spaced well, the service was excellent, and the flavors were new and different for me. The carrots and the lemon cake were so good I’m still thinking of them today and that grilled octopus 😩❤️ 10/10 for me. I’ll be back and with looser pants 😂

The best experience! Service was beautiful, space was beautiful, food was beautiful. Went for a special occasion and we were so well taken care of, they made it feel really special. Tapas are so fun to share and explore, and the open kitchen was exciting to watch the commitment to quality and professionalism. Tucked into the alley, it felt like we had found a secret place. Salem is so lucky to have The Cozy Taberna! We will be back.
This place takes eating in Salem to a different level! Uniquely crafted dinners and tapas were delicious. The radicchio salad was amazing as was the goat cheese tapa. The brussel sprouts were done to perfection, not burned and with a touch of sweetness. We had the lemon cake and cheesecake for dessert. Wow! I usually get something chocolate but so glad we got the ones we did.
