D on L has it all- great food, fantastic service and a gorgeous dining room. They were very accommodating with bringing extra bread (we were starving!) and filet-ed my fish since I don't like whole fish. Our great waiter was always there with drinks and he brought out a special birthday desert complete with a sparkler. A fantastic place. The ONLY negative I can say is it was really warm in there. I was fanning myself off when I first got there and then adjusted. Felt good to go outside into the cool air.

My experience at Dinner on Ludlow could not have been better. The service was outstanding and the cuisine was to die for. Everything we had was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were poured with a heavy hand. Will definitely return on my next trip to NYC.

I bought a gilt city deal. My friend and I got 2 appetizers the beet and goat cheese salad was amazing. We then ordered 2 entrees the cod was amazing the chicken was crispy on the outside moist on the inside. We had a dessert of doughnut balls with a side of ice cream and drizzled with chocolate. All this with a bottle of wine was just 60 bucks. Great deal and great food. The ambience though was low. We went to eat on a late Thursday night. This is when a place is vibrant in the les but instead there was only a couple and a ... read more

Brought a friend here for brunch and we were both impressed by the food. The pancake was outstanding and its texture incredible. The savory dishes were also delicious with a twist. The coffee was so-so and kind of bland - wish it was better to better match the level of the food. Our only complaint was the loud music - the medium-high volume was unnecessary and we really didn't feel like talking loud to each other, especially early in the day after a late night out. Our waiter was friendly and efficient, but once the place fi... read more

After reading an online review, I checked out Dinner on Ludlow fpr brunch with three of my girlfriends this past weekend. The hostess was very polite and accommodating about holding our table when two of the members of my party were stuck in traffic - much appreciated! The food was also excellent, and a wonderful brunch deal - appetizer, entree, two cocktails, and coffee or tea for $32. I had the kale salad (fresh with great dressing), the foodie version of a burger and fries: ground short rib, brisket & chuck on an English ... read more

The atmosphere for dinner was really pleasant, and the food was truly delicious. I think the place might get a little crazy later at night, which wouldn't have been my thing, but on a Thursday for dinner it was pleasant. I would certainly go back!

I went for brunch and booked online but my booking wasn't recorded so we didn't have a table we sat at the bar. Awesome bartender served us and the brunch food was awesome with included complimentary cocktail. I researched for a roof top brunch and this was not a roof top spot. The roof top does not serve food we were told when we went upstairs. It is beautiful though and I would love to have drinks there another time.

Until my recent visit, I had only been to DL post 11PM on the rooftop - which, in and of itself, is a good time. I used the Urban Daddy Perk to get 4 drinks and 2 appetizers, here, though and was very happy with the experience. I went with my boyfriend on a friday evening in June. THe weather was great and the ground level had a killer variation of music playing, windows wide open and a friendly staff. The UD perk was supposed to be printed, but the hostess Zuzu was really great about taking care of us, anyway. The perk incl... read more
