The food was ok, not great, and it was hard to carry on a conversation because of all the hussle and bussle. Service was better than the food. It was pricier than I expected. But others must differ because the place was really crowded
Great food plus gluten free options. Fantastic server, Sandra who is outstanding!!! Kids love coming here.
This was my first time eating here and I am already looking forward to going back. I liked the menu selections - there was something for everyone, including my picky kids, my dieting friend, and two solid men. Everything was very flavorful, including my southwestern salad.
This restaurant has excelled for many years, and our recent experience there indicates that it continues to do so. The wait staff was outstanding (informed, friendly, good at reading the pace at which we wished to dine, and genuinely nice), as were the food and beverages. The seating was particularly comfortable (one of the booths), and we could conduct a conversation without being bombarded by noise from televisions or other distractions. Highly recommended.
We keep going here because the the kitchen is open later that most restaurants on the North Shore. The service is really outstanding. Everyone is so friendly. We LOVE the gazpacho. Last night we had the fried chicken (large serving) and the whitefish - delicious! Great pour from the bar! They have great spaces for large parties here, and a vibrant bar scene 👍
We have been eating here a lot lately. The service is exceptional. Everyone on the staff is very nice! We love having the gazpacho! Portions are great for the money. Nice pour from the bar. The banana cream pie is excellent!
My wife and I have been coming to the Happ Inn for many years. Usually, we find the food quite good. Obviously, there have been changes in the menu, which is not unusual for restaurants. However, we found a definite drop off in the quality of the food. My wife's roasted chicken was, at best, average. The seasoning was nothing special or memorable. I had salmon which was supposed to be served with corn and pablano salsa. I did not see any salsa on my dish and asked the waitress. I was told that the creamy liquid on the plate ... read more
We always enjoy dining at The Happ Inn. The service and food are very good (the tuna burger is excellent!).
