We eat here somewhat regularly however this time our server was pretty gruff. My friend wanted the chicken and asked if she could have broccoli instead of the potatoes and vegetables. The server said no—-this is what is offered. My friend ended up getting the blackened chicken salad instead. Most restaurants are very happy to make substitutions. It’s not that it wasn’t allowed it was also the way it was said.
We always enjoy The Happ Inn. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful staff, great food. A pleasure!
Flatbread cold Crab tower mediocre - bland Fish tacos could have been warmer Was it because it was valentines??
LOVE Happ Inn go there often Only downside was too cold. Had to ask twice for them to turn up the heat. Still too chilly
Our server Pam was awesome - helpful, attentive and has a wonderful personality.
Had a great time. Server was excellent as was the food. Were seated in the far back room which was not my first choice but it turned out just fine. Definitely recommended.

Excellent service and great food. Our server was outstanding, especially in her interaction with the kids at our table. Everyone enjoyed their soup and dessert and all but one (me) enjoyed their entrees. SO disappointed that their amazing house-made falafel/black bean veggie burger has been removed from the menu. It was a unique and delicious vegetarian option and its replacement really falls short. Our family will still return as it's a neighborhood favorite but now my vegetarian options are limited to salad.
The food as usual was excellent but what really made her night was our server, Pam. Kept us in stitches all night with her stories about waitressing bill is 40 years Will make sure she’s there a server the next time we wanna great meal at the Happ Inn
