RecommendedI had PRK done a month ago and things have been great. All the staff was amazing. Super easy to talk to and explain everything you need to know about the surgery. I use to sleep with my contacts in for months on end which led to a scar on my eye which is why I had to get PRK. The procedure was over in 10 minutes not even . They explained to me with PRK the recovery time is a bit longer about 4-5 days. 5 stars The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and tale the time to explain everything. I wore contacts/glasses for 30 years before I finally had Lasik done. I now can see better then 20/20! Wish I had done this sooner! Highly recommend The Lasik Institute.

I had been wearing eyeglasses since 4th grade. Got lasik surgery when I turned 60 and haven't regretted it. The people at the Amherst location are friendly and really care about the patients.
Great experience overall!! Everything went very smooth and I went from 20/600 vision to 20/25 one day post op...now a week later I’m seeing 20/20!! After 30 years wearing glasses (got them at age 6) I can see for the first time and it is truly life changing! If you’ve thought about it but are on the fence, take the plunge and do it...everyone at Lasik vision institute was wonderful :)
