The Lodge is a newer community so it is clean and well maintained and all of the staff we have encountered have been super friendly. Everything has been good except a few things. There is a lot of bingo and scrabble going on and not really any physical activities and sometimes their communication is lacking.
if you're looking for a senior living facility or an independent living community, The Lodge at Mallard's Landing would be absolutely excellent. my loved one needs assisted living and I do feel that the assisted side needs some work. I have been trying to collaborate with the staff on an effective plan for my loved one, but none of my calls have been returned. I don't feel that we're getting the assistance we need. I'm hopeful that this will change because it is a very clean, beautiful facility with super friendly people.
I would say to people to look at for sure. Especially, if they are looking for a place for their loved ones. The first steps into the community, all we could say was wow. We were impressed with the offerings for the residents and the activities prior to COVID. The food has been wonderful as well.
LOVED this place! Looks brand new with a lovely dining room. Management showed a strong interest in my mother’s interests & background so that they could introduce her to like-minded residents.
Perfect fit in Memory Care for my father. I started looking over a year ago and toured many other communities in the Gig Harbor and Tacoma areas multiple times. I kept coming back to The Lodge for Memory Care. The pros are many: nice rooms and public “lodge-like” spaces, patios, good food, regular activities, and easy access for family. This is a beautiful place with excellent food and facilities. Our tour person was very helpful, rooms that we were shown were very nicely done. Nice place. Good location
My friend and I are in our seventies and starting to look at facilities in our area. [Name removed] showed us around and was so helpful and cheerful, in fact we were impressed with the whole feel of The Lodge. Staff always had a smile and seemed to know everyone by name. If we were ready to move today we would love to share a two bedroom cottage. The lodge is very fortunate to have someone like [name removed] representing them.
A Great Place. They are very friendly and truly care about their residents. The prices are reasonable and the quality of care is excellent. Much better than the previous place we had my parents.
The apartments were very nice, but the one that was available was right at the street. I prefer more privacy.I was looking for a cottage style. The staff was excellent and I was impressed with the art class you had on going. Overall a very nice facility and I have not completely ruled it out.
