The tour guide was informative, courteous, and very positive about the place. It was sort of quiet because it was a Sunday afternoon. The staff was also polite, accommodating, and responsive to questions. I only had two concerns - there was an odor throughout the complex that reminded me of being in a nursing home. It was quite prominent and noticed as soon as I walked in the building. Had a good time and impressed with all the staff. Valerie gave us a personal tour of the apartments we were interested in. We ate with three friendly people we would enjoy calling friends—coffee NFP Kanis and a couple—jim and Mary. We like one apartment which was somewhat smaller than we wanted but we loved the large windows on two sides and sunlight is important when you’re used to a house.
