Had a selection of dishes was lovely, expect forgetting one dish which they sorted out. Unfortunately the brownie was crispy and wasn’t till got to the middle noticed it had been burnt and could taste it and see the burnt bits. We had vouchers but if we didn’t definitely wouldn’t have been happy paying for the pudding.

The venue and staff are lovely. It's a really nice environment for a girls lunch and drinks. The brunch menu was a let down though. The food is lovely but the portions are miserable. More like a starter or a side portion. Three of us went for brunch and two of us had to order a second round of food each as we were still hungry. I'd go back to The Spiritualist for drink but I'd eat somewhere else first.

Booked for anniversary drinks, poor service from staff. No one seemed to know what to do when we said we had a booking. Not a great vibe. Stayed for one drink and left. Drinks were okay but not amazing for £12

Booked in advance for the Aberdeen Restaurant Week. Booked through the app that advertised it. Was told we couldn’t get the special menu as we hadn’t stated our preference for that menu. Placed near a very noisy table of well inebriated folk while waiting to see if the manager would let us use the special menu. He or she said no, via the waitress, who couldn’t have cared less. Won’t be back.

My boyfriend and I visited for the very first time to try the ARW menu and your infamous cocktails. The value for money was amazing and the food was amazing and fresh. The cocktails were some of the best I've had in Aberdeen (it also helped that they were £5). However, the one thing that stuck with me the most was how good the service was. Booked for the 10th of January for an anniversary and it was closed once we arrived. Can't rate a place if I don't get to experience it. Was looking forward to it, so it's a big shame. Need to sort out the booking system.

On arrival the strong smell of air freshener/potpourri almost made us walk out. Was given a Christmas menu which was limited and asked if that was all that was on offer and the waiter said he would have to ask the chef he eventually returned with a larger menu The small amount of food we had was not good, onion rings very fatty and stuck together .Plates not clean. Will not be returning

Music too loud and waiter couldnt hear us and ordered wrong cocktails too

We arrived and were shown to our table and they took a drinks order, about 30min in they took away our drinks and did not come back for another order so i went to the bar. Then with over 40mins to go they told us we would need to leave in 40 mins then told us with 20min to go then asked us to vacate our table so we asked for the bill feeling we were being "chucked out". The bill came with a service charge of 10% which i felt as they had been more attentive to us leaving i asked for them to remove this charge. We were not inv... read more
