We've completely remodeled and rebranded from the iconic Atlantic Beach Hotel, to the brand new Tryst at Condado Beach. We've reopened our beachfront bar and restaurant and are looking forward to hosting you as Condado's only true Beachfront Botique Hotel. Great potential, give them time to finish construction so it’s actually worth the price they are asking. Tiny rooms, like tiny for NYC. 2 full adults on a twin bed tiny. Older property, so a lot of things in the room are rusted. They had construction for longer than they had predicted during our stay with no apology. My guess is to prep for the event they had the weekend of our stay. The bar was shut down to guest not attending a charity drag brunch event and no tickets were sold on site. Great location and beach services There is no parking; you have to park like two blocks away, but the same happens in almost all the area I had some concerns initially since it was under a significant renewal and it’s more like a gay hotel, but it was excellent! Great location and services
Tryst offers a clean, comfortable room in a great location but check your amenities first. FIRST, the rooms that we booked wound up being under construction so the hotel separated our party into separate rooms which were not facing the beach. SECOND, the pool that was shown online does not exist. It's "proposed". THIRD, the bathroom - although clean - was awkwardly designed so that when you're sitting on the toilet your knees are almost touching the wall in front of you. Very convenient, considerate staff, excellent location. The rooms could use a little more finesse. I hope they apply the same design for the interior as they have planned for the exterior. Everything was clean, but the bathrooms could use a bit of an update and the rooms a little softening to make them more welcoming. The location and the staff were lovely. They were in the middle of a remodel and didn’t allow that to interfere with my experience. I would love to see how it looks when they finish. The mock ups looked great.
