We visited Timpson in Tesco, Whitfield for a shoe repair. Gianluca was very knowledgeable and clearly knew his craft. He was able to think of a way to resole the shoes (despite the shoes being too large for the machine!) and when we picked up the shoes, they looked like new. Gianluca had even polished them and replaced the laces, free of charge. We are very grateful - and impressed by - Gianluca's work: the shoe repair was perfect.

Timpon’s and their customers are extremely lucky to have Mr Gialuca, aka the the Italian Guy here for us. It’s difficult to think how he could be more helpful. He’s always looking for a solution. A skilled craftsman able to turn his hand to numerous areas. Most recently he resurrected some much used RM Williams boots for me. Great interpersonal skills; I’ve watched him deal with difficult customers with ease leaving them feeling good.
