Better than the imitations I think this is my third Brother cartridge and they've all worked wonderful. I use the trick of blocking off the window on the side which measures toner left; it adds months to the life of the cartridge. Tried a cheaper imitation one from someone else; it worked fine at first, but within a year it began spewing toner all over the paper. So now it's back to genuine Brother cartridges!
Four Stars Preatty good for the cheaper price. I'll buy more!
Five Stars great service and product
Five Stars Just right!
Great product I think the 5 stars speak for themselves!
Four Stars As advertised !!!
OEM Parts Got this and the matching drum to replace a drum and toner warning on a HL-2170W laser printer. Of course they were a perfect fit and worked flawlessly. The printer is at a school I do IT for and sees heavy use. The old units lasted quite a while, and I suspect these will as well. I hardly ever use generic knock-offs of parts like these due to issues of quality, fit and functionality, and never on a customer machine. It is worth the money for OEM in these cases.
Five Stars Thank you
Excellent cartridge for an excellent machine. I bought a no-name cartridge for my Brother from a company with excellent reviews and spectacular prices. About a month in, the printed pages began to have a grey background. Never had that before, but the laser printer is older than it should be, so went through several weeks of changing paper, checking websites, trying this, trying that, etc., then bit the bullet and bought the Brother cartridge. Thirty seconds to change. Grey background gone. Lesson learned.
