Food and service are good. Lunch is always good because it’s half empty and quiet. Dinner is much too crowded and noisy.

In evaluating value, we partook of restaurant week menu and so it was a good value. Portions were more than adequate. per request for quiet are, sat in a side/back room, but still noisy especially considering only few tables occupied. Got noisier later as more tables occupied. Room seemed a bit cold at first. Overall, the food was very good although the burrata salad was unimpressive with only two tasteless wedges of tomato (plus one slice of avocado). Great location. Staff so attentive and friendly!! Food was excellent and we went during restaurant week. Wow, wonderful appetizer, entree and dessert price fix menu for $45.

As a single diner, the bar is ideal with Victor an excellent bartender, with the feel of a host. I have come here with groups or a two some and it is always a favorite. There is a feel of a neighborhood or locals restaurant. The food is excellent. I had the osso buco over polenta, with a starter of the broccolini and it hit all the notes. I chose the cannoli for dessert and it was especially light and tasty.

We went for restaurant week just before a concert at Carnegie Hall. Even for Restaurant Week it was an amazing deal, and everything was really delicious, well executed, great ingredients, nice portions (but not too much), great choices on the prefix menu, seasoned perfectly. Service was excellent. Interior is a bit 80s retro, but it’s lively and bustling. A+++ all the way around!
