Attended Turfway's Kentucky Derby Party. Purchased 2 tickets at $50 each for their clubhouse and buffet. Food was awful... cold, dried out, limited selection. Green beans were non-seasoned and out of a can. Spent $100 for something I didn't even want to eat. Would've rather sat outside for free! Not impressed in the slightest. Won't be there next year.

Turned in two winning exacta tickets for the big race, was only paid for one, didn't realize it until I stepped away. Ripped off $61.00

Website and THIS FB states you are open until 10p - we were turned away at 9:20p and DERBY day- and we weren't the only ones.

I've been going to Turfway my whole life. I've always loved the place, but it's really sad to see it slowly fall apart (literally) ! Unfortunately, the management team is led by horseshoe casino, who probably wouldn't mind seeing the track go out of business. Every year it seems to get worse, no racing on Wednesdays, no afternoon posts, shorter purses, no Kentucky cup, no stakes racing.... And...

Visited the park today and was saddened by the condition of the facility. It would be an awesome racetrack if money was spent to renovate the outside, grandstands, concessions, and parking lots. I would much rather come here than spend my money at a racino; however, if your facility can't keep up with the times it will not last in this area due to the other better quality facilities.
