Perhaps I am spoiled by the superb swordfish on Cape Cod every summer, but what was served In Union 50 had to be industrially prepared, deep fried and at most 3 ounces of fish.
Overall a great visit! Service was strong and the foods and drinks were fantastic. I thought the prices were just a bit high for what you get.
Highly recommend this restaurant! The food, drinks, and service never disappoint. They have a great Devour Indy special going on right now as well. I had the East Street Salad, Paella, and Tres Leches cake for $40 - a steal. My husband and I always love snacking on a charcuterie board and also really enjoy the Swordfish on the regular menu. I tried a new drink this time called She's An Eleven -it totally lived up to its name!
The waiter was great! The menu that included specialty drinks and great tasting food that was meant to savor made the experience wonderful! Ambience was very good and the entrance to the restaurant was somewhat hidden leaving the impression that the place is a hidden treat, and it is!
We came during Devour week and despite having a late reservation it took three hours to complete our dinner - initial water refills were flowing then stopped likely cause it was after 10 pm - the food delay was worth it but watching larger tables enter and exit was frustrating We will come back again when we can secure an early evening reservation - likely just a staffing issue as the food was Delish!!!
