Overall I was very pleased with our experience. Jesse was fantastic from start to finish, taking time to answer all of our questions before, during, and after completion and following up whenever was necessary. The guys on the crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, finishing our roof quicker than we had anticipated. Overall just a great experience!
Needs Improvement in the areas of:1. Cleanup after the job 2. Occasional communication of progress of the job3. Absence of QC person for most of the job
This was a very unexpected meeting with Universal Builders. We were unaware we had significant hail damage on our roof. They explained every part of the process and had paperwork in hand to make the process with our homeowners easy. The crew was professional. My only criticism was we were told our job would be done in 2 days. It took a week as we had Gutter Helmets and apparently that is a different crew. The actual roof removal & replacement went as planned. There was a delay in installing the gutter covers and that crew showed up on a Saturday when my wife and I were out of town with no prior notice. Whereas the roofing crew cleaned the site up very nicely, the gutter crew did not. I found nails, screws , pieces of shingle and aluminum on my drive and in my beds & lawn. That crew also left a 20v battery and charger on my front porch and plugged into an exterior outlet.
