Broke my ankle while traveling across the state. The doctor and nurse were both great, thorough, very fast to see me and t rest the injury. I’m very pleased with it.
This was our first visit to this facility, and we were very impressed. The office was exceptionally clean, and the entire staff provided outstanding care. The receptionist was extremely friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, making the check-in process smooth and efficient, even as a walk-in. This was my first visit at this UH Avon urgent care for a somewhat bad thumb laceration. I was able to get in right away and I did not have to wait long for assessment and treatment. The staff was very knowledgeable and took great care of me. I left laughing and at ease that if me or my family requires non ER care we have a new go to place.
There is nothing URGENT about the care here. They should not even be able to call themselves and URGENT care. As you can see on their homepage, they allow for you to book appointments or walk-ins are welcome. However, the walk-ins are not really welcome. When I took my daughter in at 8:30 on Sunday morning to be seen for potential pneumonia, they told me their first available appointment was not until 11:30. Had a really great experience there today! The whole staff was very nice and helpful. Everything moved quickly. And the nurse practioner , Mike , was awesome! He was knowledgeable, did all the right tests and was very thorough, did an EKG to be on the safe side also. I felt like he actually listened AND cared!!
