RecommendedOur anesthesiologist was an hour late for my 8 year olds surgery. She was already nervous and we were the first procedure scheduled for the day. She came out of surgery just fine and that’s the most important thing but it was still disappointing.
I was awake the WHOLE time. Since I was face down, I don't know who was talking to me. But they asked how I was doing. I told them, "Well I'm still awake... but I guess I'm a bit relaxed?" And within second the procedure started. I started groaning and experiencing an anxiety attack as I felt all the pain of the procedure.
