Elevated and beautifully crafted dishes comprised of simple ingredients which despite their own merit serve simply as the appetizer to the best desserts in the city!
My group totally enjoyed Vida. The decor, the food, the service, the garden wall and all aspects of this experience was excellent. It was perfect for a nicer get together with friends. It would be great for a special occasion or business too. This is a must for foodies. The creative mix of flavors, textures and variety of food was outstanding. The presentation on the plates and by the servers was fantastic. This has to be one of the top restaurants in Indianapolis and not enough people seem to know about it.
As always Vida is a superb venue for innovative dishes and fresh herbs.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Vida last night and oh, man, it was absolutely great. Vida is the place to go for a special occasion, or if you're just really into amazing food in a comfortable, moderately uncrowded space. A great dining experience. Very pleased.
Met long term out of town high school friends for dinner. Started with a drink in the bar with good service from the bartender. Hostess met us at our reservation time and escorted us to our table. Three of us had the four course meal with appropriate sized dishes. All courses were delicious ... we will be back for special occasions.
We had a wonderful evening at Vida. Shane, our server, was informative and pleasant without being around too much. We had delicious drinks from the bar to start with and the wine pairings suggested with dinner were spot on. Food was exceptional as always. The Fois Gras was on a different plane than any other I have had. The duck breast prepared by Sous Vide was perfect. Vida is on our short list of favorites.
Hosted a small group of business colleagues for dinner, upon the recommendation of a friend. Wow. I would return to Vida today to taste some of the other items on the menu. Creative without being crazy - and delicious. Wait staff was attentive, not pushy. The Gorgonzola Stone Fruit second course was one of those small delights that surprises the palate - an unusual pairing of foods that just works so well - all the flavors remaining distinct but also blending perfectly in the mouth. Went to Indy to celebrate my wife's birthday. I found Vida with an on-line search and it looked unique so I made a reservation. The whole evening was excellent from when we entered until we left. We ordered the 4 course meal and each had a couple of cocktails. The drinks were unique and all very tasty. Each course was amazing my wife and I each got different items and shared; except desert - we both got the Ricotta donuts - incredible!!
