Food is just so outstanding at Vida. Presentation is superb as well. Service isn’t 5 star but it is getting there. My wife is vegetarian and the Amuse-Bouche was not vegetarian which it easily could have been but they didn’t make a special one for her even though we were there for her birthday. Also, the server was not that attentive. She spent more time waiting at the kitchen than with her patrons. This is what separates Vida from a Michelin restaurant. The food at Vida is exceptional.

Elevated and beautifully crafted dishes comprised of simple ingredients which despite their own merit serve simply as the appetizer to the best desserts in the city!
I was surprised and delighted to receive pre-dining call to determine diets and special occasion. Our Waiter was exceptional; knew all menu preparations and helped our vegetarian plan a meal by modifying dishes. The room was comfortable and decor calming as would suit a relaxing dinner. My group totally enjoyed Vida. The decor, the food, the service, the garden wall and all aspects of this experience was excellent. It was perfect for a nicer get together with friends. It would be great for a special occasion or business too. This is a must for foodies. The creative mix of flavors, textures and variety of food was outstanding. The presentation on the plates and by the servers was fantastic. This has to be one of the top restaurants in Indianapolis and not enough people seem to know about it.
As always Vida is a superb venue for innovative dishes and fresh herbs.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Vida last night and oh, man, it was absolutely great. Vida is the place to go for a special occasion, or if you're just really into amazing food in a comfortable, moderately uncrowded space. We had the chef's tasting menu with the wine pairings, and every single bite was a treat. Incredibly creative combinations of a variety of seasonal ingredients. A great dining experience. Very pleased.
We had a wonderful evening at Vida. Shane, our server, was informative and pleasant without being around too much. We had delicious drinks from the bar to start with and the wine pairings suggested with dinner were spot on. Food was exceptional as always. The Fois Gras was on a different plane than any other I have had. The duck breast prepared by Sous Vide was perfect. Vida is on our short list of favorites.
