Service was not friendly or helpful compared to other servers around. The steak dish was incredibly salty to the point of being inedible for me. The ricotta doughnuts were great.
This is a destination restaurant that is well worth the trip. Service was great and Rachel was attentive without being intrusive. We chose the four course meal and every course was truly spectacular. Portion sizes were on the small size but that's pretty standard in big city restaurants any more. We celebrated our anniversary with Vida, and it was our first fine dining experience. The team at Vida is both extremely professional and also gracious and friendly. The food was easily among the best I've ever had. Every course was delicious for both of us, and everything we'd expect from a dinner at this price point. This is still a very good restaurant, but they are definitely running more dinners through and niceties such as white tablecloths are gone. It is rare to show up at your reservation time and not have to wait 15-25 min for your table. Food is still good, but this is not the fine dining experience it use to be.
