I called with an emergency for my dog who had split her gums on a stick, they turned me away. U-Vet took care of her thank goodness.
Track information better(like phone numbers and basic animal information) Let pet owners know about and ridiculous covid rules you're adhering to.
Really need to train office help in customer relations.
Called to have microchip search done on a pet I found lost. Called for curbside help and she said pull up and call so maybe 20 minutes later I’m out front and the desk girl says someone will be out and to hold and then comes on the phone to say they have had something happened and now no one is allowed out of the facility. RecommendedMy friendship with Chrissie Roos is why I tried Village East, but their compassionate care for my dogs is why I continue to be a customer.
No one calls to remind of appointments, and then they accuse the owner of not caring for the pet when an appointment is missed because of no confirmation call. Also, office staff is not very respectful & does not seem particularly concerned about retaining business. Going elsewhere!! Was told my records would be ready to pick up, but it turns out the doctor hasn't dictated the test results from 5 weeks ago, and she'll "get around to it." In general, I do like taking my dogs to Village East. However, I don't appreciate that they make you feel like garbage every time you decline heartworm or fecal tests. My oldest dog's vet, Dr Smith, kept pushing heartworm prevention when we already had some at home (there's other places than the vet to get prevention meds FYI, rebate or not it's expensive) so I ended up paying WAY than necessary ($138.25!) for stuff we already had. So I left kind of feeling taken advantage of....
Inefficient service. There are many employees around, some staring at computers, another engaged in a personal conversation. FINALLY someone (who finished her snack and came out chewing) was able to check us out.
