This place deserves a ZERO. I have contacted several State and government agencies to lodge a complaint against them. The stealing that goes on in this place with little or actually no help from the staff. Now after several requests to speak to my parent, they have done nothing EXCEPT they retaliated by ignoring my requests to speak to parent. Do your parent a favor and look into another facility. BEWARE OF VISALIA POST ACUTE

Food has gone downhill. New phone service installed a few months ago only allows patients to call out. Patients no longer can receive calls from family and friends.

Daughter transferred from acute care unable to walk due to cellulitis. She then caught severe covid. Was unable to participate in PT part of time d/t weakness and covid. Soon after told she will be transferred home worse off than when she was admitted! She needed IV antibiotics and nobody could stick her, one problem to the next. Please don't entrust your loved one to this awful place!

Make this your last resort. Three to a room with each bed separated by curtains. Your personal space is about two beds wide and one bed long. One window only, and in my room the shades were always drawn. Never saw the sun or a tree for the three months I was there. Food fitting for a prison menu. I had a valuable overcoat and a pair of shoes with very expensive arch supports stolen, and my possessions rifled through. On the positive side, the PT was wonderful. This place has got to be one of the worst establishments. And, that is saying a lot. Things get stolen by staff late at night when patients are sleeping. They seem to have a hair across their fat asses, and call backs are non existent. I will be taking this to the state for them to audit this place.
