I chose Dr. Waring after extensive research. I've been in the medical field 40+ years and am very wary of physicians in general. Sometimes too much knowledge can be a bad thing. I had two cataracts, one very dense (mature) and large and one mostly routine. My last ophthalmologist left me completely confused as to what he wanted to do, what was actually going on with me, and just what he was going to do to fix it. The place is awesome and we loved the way the staff treated us. They answered all of our questions. The doctor “Waring” the was great and he remembered who we were. If you have cataract’s this is the place to visit and also for second opinions this is one great doctor. He also gives seminar’s so we could better understand what cataract’s is all about. Dr. Waring and the staff were amazing! AND the office is clean and beautiful. Dr. Waring explained the process in a way that I'd understand from start to finish. During the prep and procedure he kept me in the loop on everything that was happening and was almost like my personal cheerleader! I couldn't have asked for a better team to do my Lasik procedure and so far I'm amazed with the results. It's only going to get better from here! Thank you, Waring Vision Institute!

Dr Waring is one of the most caring and knowledgeable physicians I have ever had. I wish he could be my doctor for everything! His staff is tops starting with the front desk and continuing with staff who exam you. I completely, and with confidence, trust my eye care with Dr Waring.
After lasik with another local doctor I was in pain daily. That doctor basically threw his hands in the air and said that’s all he could do. Dr Waring took the time to find out why I was in pain and why I had such severe problems with glare and has been working over time to help me. I must say we’ve been successful. I’m not 100% (pre lasik comfort) yet, it’s only been a few months and these things take time, but I am leaps and bounds better than what I was.
