Sleep study experience was terrible, the technician smelled terrible. It was hard to get to sleep after getting prepped for the procedure. The bed was uncomfortable just made my aches worse. The monitor devices around my nose made it even harder to breathe than my usual allergies.I would like to me the doctor to discuss my experience.
The first thing that happens upon arrival is you are placed in a chair facing the wall which makes for an uncomfortable wait. I didn’t feel room was as patient friendly as it could be. I really need a new sleep study done as I struggle to get a good night sleep with current cpap.
I had a sleep study there 2 nights ago. The facility is cold, uninviting, and feels unfinished. I was given a bare room with what looked and felt like a hospital bed from the 80’s because I drew the short straw and was assigned the accessibility room. There were numerous incidents through my 9 hours there, not helped by the space, that led to what I think was my first anxiety attack. I left early because I could not stay any longer. Tried to diagnose MS with no symptoms and no findings on an MRI. Wanted to start treatment. I saw him once and then went elsewhere. There is nothing wrong with me and to think I would have an MS diagnosis had I continued under his care.
