Took a sick elderly cat for a humane euthanasia, after an hour and 1/2, they told me to go to ACCT. They prefer the cat to be scared and stressed for days as oppose to ending her life quickly. They are fully aware the shelters are overflowing and cats are killed in large numbers. The vet didn't even examine the cat, who is 18 yrs old, has much blood in the urine, a left paw that is going black. Now the cat is crying in pain. Thank you!! Totally horrible!!!!
I was able to get appointments for my cats quickly and the staff were friendly and thorough. My only complaint is that their services are incredibly expensive, even for routine tests and care.
Danger danger. Wash ave vet is a revolving factory of bill bill bill. Then bill again. Office manager lisa Ortiz may call you back If she feels like it, will not be reasonable and will rude and offensive. Their practice is to methodically bring you in, give your pet all kinds of nonsense it doesn’t need then bill you hundreds if not thousands as they hold you and your pet hostage. I do not live in the area, but my sister does. She trusted this animal hospital with her furry four legged baby, and they let her down immensely. If you love your fur babies, KEEP THEM FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL.
How they handled the body of someone's beloved pet was unacceptable. disgusting.
The way this hospital handled my baby is completely disgusting and unacceptable! My dog transitioned there on June 21st. She wasn't sent to the Crematorium until almost a month later because "they didnt know payment was made" although payment was received AT THE LOCATION. Not over the internet, not over the phone, not by mail. in person. Me and my Mom went to go pick up our dogs ashes tonight.. Someone at the office forgot to do my dogs paw print before he was cremated. So the guy at the desk says maybe its a mix up.. The Lead nurse pulled us in a private room and said "luckily we did not pay for it, & that it is a free service" - Yes, it may be a free service and a nice gesture however, it doesn't take the place of the fact that someone forgot to do it & it was a memorial keepsake that we were expecting.
