I've lived in Miami for 38 years and used many different HVAC companies. Weathershield offered the best service I've ever seen, knowlegdeable and not afraid to do the tough jobs. Mine was one of the most complicated systems as the ductwork runs through the crawlspace under the 1st floor where there is approximately 2.5 to 3 ft of headroom. Called right away after the web request and asked about making an appt. They were on time and very nice, suggested various options for the repair/work necessary and were very affordable. Would highly recommend and also use this vendor
Seemed ill prepared for high ceilings; not sure they used correct product; seemed like a complete rip off; ducts still had mildew smell 2 days later; I can stand on a ladder and wipe the vents myself. Next time will do so.
Not only were they 3 hours late. They told me the trip fee would be applied towards any repairs that was done. That was a lie they charge me the trip fee plus the repair fee. After fixing the AC he told me it should take 3 to 4 hours to cool down and the unit was old. Needless to say the a/c never got cold. When I called the next day to tell them that the AC never got cold they told me that my unit was very old, sorry there's nothing they can do. I called another AC company that repaired my unit in 10 minutes for less money
Did not fix an easy clogged drain problem. Recommended that I replace the entire unit.
Been contacted and customer service (very nice) have done very fast to send a technician on site (within 2 hours). I hired them to check-up the the air handler and cleaning all system including duct. The Guy reactivate the outdoor compressor had a look the the complete installation and...left. > cost $120. He confirmed me that I would be contacted with a quote for complete cleaning and nothing arrived. My AC wasn't cooling as usual. They sent a tech next day how refill the freon and noticed the valve is leaking but instead of replace it just put some paste inside the cap. Next day it was completely out of freon. They sent another tech who told me it can be many issues and sold me a Raheem unit without even measuring. The unit is HUGE they broke the wall and the door does't close anymore and even put the drain pipe across the filter slot. 4 hrs later water dripping inside the house.
