I purchased a one year contract for 2 fertilization and 3 weed killings and my lawn has absolutely the worst dandelions ever! When I spoke to a representative on the phone she told me that NS by-laws for herbicides only top kills the weeds and it is the customer's responsibility to overseed the lawn. As part of the contract a tech inspected the lawn a couple weeks ago and made no comment about overseeding but did say the weeds would be treated at the next visit! Mr. Newman - we're sorry that you are not happy with the current weediness of your lawn. We do get weed regeneration through the summer due to the top kill method of action of our weed control product, and new weeds do sprout up through the summer. Our fall weed control which will be completed in the next few weeks is designed to clean up these weeds.
I ordered a grub killing service from Weed man back in May. On September 29th, I came home to a sign on the lawn for a spraying and a bill in my mailbox. When I contacted them, they said I ordered the spraying in May and that an e-mail was opened in May to confirm the order. No signed order, no verbal agreement, just an unanswered e-mail. I have no issues with the quality of the work done on my actual lawn. What I take exception to is the business practices to extorting verbal consent or "I will think about it" as full expressed consent to do the work months prior to doing work. You came and did services on my lawn when I wasn't home without letting me know or giving me a phone or email reminder.
