Next day my left toe is swollen and very painful. I will make sure the VA is aware.
I never had an appointment I re scheduled for later in the month.
Absolutely nothing.

I thought I will scream, had the Aide call my husband for supoort in case I'm bleeding n so forth. I wasn't even looking but he just cut the whole toe nail in 7seconds, done. No trace if blood. Notha. Wrapped it with bandage with bacitracin.
Other than the 30 minute wait after nurse till dr saw me, things are fine.
I am still unsure why ligament/muscles/nerves healing so slowly after injury 4 months ago. And the advice of tonic water/quinine ....FDA abd NIH advises against use of this product for this problem; is it safe?
Dr was to remove roots of nail due to growth pattern; failed Office charged $25.00 copay; have never paid copay since on Medicare last 5 years Office staff, on the other hand were very pleasant
