RecommendedI called about a sick dog I had just adopted could I please get her seen? They said yes I would have to drive there and check in and they would do there best to fit me in. I drove down checked in and was offered water and Crackers, which I declined, but so sweet to be asked. I waited about one hour or so but staff stayed in contact with me and checked in on us. My 6 month old, golden retriever puppy was seen at Animal Crackers Veterinary Hospital presenting with vomiting, listless behavior, just not feeling good. Dr. Heller and his staff worked quickly and efficiently to diagnose her and tried every thing reasonable to avoid surgery. When it was determined that surgery was necessary, he cleared his schedule to do the emergency procedure. Animal Crackers was very accommodating. I called first thing in the morning & even though we’re full & had no openings, they worked my little dog in to be seen by 10:00 am. He was doing much bett the next afternoon.
It is hard to find good bird vets. Dr. Anderson was knowledgeable, and reasonable with both my budgie and my Christmas rescue duck. Other exotic vets would not even see the duck on emergency basis and were willing to leave an infected eye for a week. Animal crackers took us and then promptly had a follow-up with Dr. Anderson. Thank you for being a valuable and knowledgeable resource to my strange pets!

Animal Crackers is great! My poor Labrador went limp and had to be rushed into emergency surgery to take care of some pretty complicated stuff - the doc stayed late to take care of him & people followed up with me every 2-3 days. Good old Sarge is good as new again. Thanks Animal Crackers!
I have two cats and they are both 5 years old. They are indoor cats and have never been sick and we don't have a set veterinarian. My cat Drake was not feeling well and wouldn't stop panting. I watched him overnight but he wasn't looking good. I called right when the office was open and was able to get my name on the list for prompt care. We were able to get in right away and Dr. Braun was so wonderful at keeping me informed of what was going on and what my options were.
