Management and every member of staff at Westfield Nursing home always go above and beyond to care and treat my mum with kindness and respect. Communication about mum's medial needs is excellent, and nursing care is executed with skill and knowledge. The staff likewise treat my sisters and I with the same kindness and respect as our mum, many have become friends and help to make our visits feel like being part of a family. Thank you.

My husband was admitted as an emergency for 'end of life care'. We had been planning for admission, I had visited the home and planned to have him admitted but things happened quickly. The staff from the manager, care staff, cleaning to catering were excellent. The care and attention my husband received was excellent much higher than my expectations. I wish he had been admitted sooner to make his end of life more comfrtable.

Mum has been a resident at Westfield Care Home for several years and more recently has become unable to leave her room. She has always been treated with respect and dignity and all staff are very kind and friendly. The home is clean and tidy, the food is very good and nutritious. Mum is happy, warm and comfortable.

Westfield Nursing Home and their staff treat residents and their family with utmost professionalism, respect and care. Communication with residents and family is exceptional. Management and all staff treat residents as their family and this is reciprocated. Indeed, we look on the staff as our friends now, and would not wish our beloved mum to be cared for anywhere else. Thank you.

From the moment I walked into Westfield House to meet my dad after his discharge from Pilgrim Hospital ( May 2024) , I had a feeling of this is the right place for him. As dementia and Parkinsons develop, the care required gets more and more complex and demanding, and I struggled to keep my dad safe. I keep telling myself there is a team here 24 hours a day who are trained professionally to deal with demanding needs and emotions of your nearest and dearest, and can take an objective view. Everyone is lovely at the home and my sister is looked after extremely well Her room and everywhere is always spotless and looking nice I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a place to have their loved ones looked after

I cannot enthuse enough about Westfield House. My mother has advanced dementia. She is double incontinent and requires two people to move, wash and dress her. Having been in for just over a year, she is better now in terms of her look and demeanour than when she went in. Despite the various leaky bladders and worse, the home never has any unpleasant smells. Something you only realise afterwards as smell usually only becomes memorable when you notice them. All staff make me feel welcome with a cheery smile. I eat once a week (lunch) with my mum at Westfield and the food is delicious - always a choice. Staff care for my mum with great compassion, she has some hearing loss and does struggle understanding, communication staff from other countries. From my observations staff "run off their feet."

My mother moved to Westfield from hospital on Christmas day 2023. From the first day the staff have been fantastic with their care for Mum. Staff have kept me informed of Mum's condition throughout her stay and have always been available when I needed them. Mum suffers with Dementia and on occasion needs a lot of care, this is provided by the staff with care, empathy and professionalism.
