Instead of replacing a leaking hose they replaced the entire power steering pump for $800 and then the next day the pump started squeeling and that's when they charged us for the bad hose for $170. Tried to charge labor for it. Said they replaced the fuel pump yet it still doesn't work correctly. We are afraid to let them fix it right because of lack of knowledge and they will try and charge us more to fix their mistakes.
Mechanics were unable to complete service and I was referred to the Acura Dealer. I was charged nonetheless. I wish they had told me they were not equipped and or trained to perform the service on my RDX. Desk people were friendly.
I took my car to Whit's for an oil change because my regular shop couldn't fit me in before an unexpected trip. Whit's was asked to do an oil change, check the brakes, determine why one of the tire sensors was displaying on the dash, and generally spot-check engine conditions before the trip. Whit's said they checked the brakes which were at the mid-point of wear so were fine. They didn't service anything. They quoted an insane amount of money for a simple fix.
