Willows Landing is a nice place and we are thankful for it. Yes, we would recommend Willows Landing to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
Mom progressed from independent living to assisted living in a 1 br apartment. Then moved to memory care in a good sized bed-sit, no kitchen..and then hospice care in the same place. She passed away in August. There were bumps in the road along the way, all related to her declining health. Overall I'd say that they did a wonderful job. Our only regret was that we didn't make these changes for her sooner. She would have been able to take part in more of the offered activities and make more friends.
Sending mom to assisted living was a very hard and scary process for our family. Willows landing answered all of our questions and and helped us seamlessly through the move. It is a beautiful facility with kind and caring employees. They have so many activities and events that mom is never bored.
Overall we were happy with the care of my father at Willows Landing. In the beginning of his stay they were without a RN onsite during normal business hours and worked with an LPN only. This was not as we had been told. The unit had 2 staff initially that my dad complained about on several occasions for how residents were treated, don't know what happened but they weren't around shortly after concerns were expressed. My mom is in the memory care unit. The staff and unit are great. The staff in MC is attentive and pleasant. Mom is well cared for.
We love Willows Landing and my mom loves it. We feel like my mom is well taken care of there and we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.
The process has gone pretty well. The only thing we're working through is a couple of care issues. This is a more individual issue as far as help. Like anywhere some employees are easier to work with. Other than that everything is top notch.
My loved one was previously a resident at Willows Landing and everything was very good for him during his stay at this facility. The staff, cleanliness and friendliness were great. The food was okay, though my loved one was not easy to please. The care services and value for cost were good. Overall, I would recommend Willows Landing to others.
It's a little expensive, but nicer than many places I looked at.I would recommend it.It was one of the nicer places we visited, and was close to family members.
