This is how my dogs were returned to me after a 6 day stay at Woofdorf. Both were swollen beyond belief, had bumps all over their head, and had open wounds all over them (indicative of scratching themselves raw) and contracted a skin infection due to the gashes in their skin. We were informed that our Golden has a hot spot on his neck on his 2nd day there, but things like that happen, especially when a dog is in a new place and is probably a bit nervous. My experience at Woofdorf boarding was to say the least…..horrific. I have boarded my dog there 3 times. Last weekend will be the last time. The second time I boarded my dog I paid for an additional package to have pictures sent to me daily and for him to enjoy a treat. Multiple days went by with no pictures and I was unable to reach any staff members via multiple phone call attempts and also emails.
