Dr Zhang is wonderful. Very intelligent. Really knows meds for DC-PTSD. She listens. She cares. I feel very lucky to have finally found someone great!
Warning...Don't ever disagree with Dr Yi Zhang diagnoses she will drop you as a patient so quickly your head will spin. She gave me 30 days to find another psychiatrist to keep on my meds. We all know how hard it is to find a quality therapist especially in thirty days but she did not care! So I'm off my ADD Medicine, Klonipin which can be deadly to wean off by yourself but again Dr Yi Zhang does not care! Lifestance accounting department is a joke. My first visit with Dr Zhang at LifeStance was a very positive experience. She had reviewed my records before I arrived, and took time to talk through my history and medications and started me titrating off a med that was more harmful than helpful!
When I first scheduled with Dr. Zhang, I was fortunate to not wait months for a consultation. I sought treatment for PMDD after my Gynecologist referred me to a psychiatrist. Dr. Zhang is sucessfully helping me with treatment for this. I also have PTSD, and MDD. She is light-hearted, purely human, and comfortable to work with. Her energy is calm. This is a plus for me as I am on the Spectrum.
She is very good at communicating, suggesting what to try, explaining things. Also great at quick responses to messages. I’ve seen several psychiatrists over the years to try to manage my mental health and she is one of the best I’ve encountered.
