Get genuine hoses There are plenty of sellers with generic replacement hoses. They are literally half the thickness and strength (I weighed them and checked with a caliper). The generic ones start to split in nothing flat. These too will eventually split but nowhere near as quickly so well worth the extra money. (Still overpriced in my opinion)

Would be 5 I think we all agree that these things 1) don't last as long as they should and 2) the price is way out of line for what it is. I work for a multi-billion-dollar manufacturer and am closely tied to how we price products and what things cost to make. This tubing is priced not on what it costs to make (under $1 for 6 feet), but based on how there are are few sources for the size needed.
