I bought this unit to replace an old Hayward Pool Vac XL. After replacing my 30 year old single speed pump to a new app driven variable speed model, my Hayward started to “get stuck” whilst vacuuming. It would just creep inch by agonizing inch. I purchased this pool vacuum to replace a heartbeat style because of the rebate offer. The MX-8 Elite cleans the whole pool. My pool had never been cleaned and I don't have to watch the vacuum. It never gets stuck. Best pool purchase I made this year. I highly recommend this model.

Easy to use...recommend downloading the entire operating manual first...set up would have been much quicker if I'd known a FULL manual was available. Had to use the skimmer option as the dedicated suction line did not provide enough 'energy' to vacuum the sides.
